What we offer...

Our experienced staff will work with customers at length on projects and equipment selection. We work with many distributors, wholesalers and  manufacturer's representatives to offer fast turn around on special orders. Custom rigging orders and affordable installations are also coordinated.

We deal with several local distributors who offer deliveries to our stores six days a week in season. We can usually have your item next day with no additional charges. Our selection, prices and  staff makes Newport Nautical Supply the choice of professional captains, government agencies and recreational boaters.

James "Bud" Heaton is the  president of Newport Nautical Supply and runs the original Newport retail store. His extensive knowledge of the marine industry and sailing experience makes him a local resource to sailors. When not helping customers, Bud enjoys sailing on his Contessa 35 with his wife. Chris Heaton - Bud's son - Chris has extensive knowledge of the marine  industry as well as many years of sailing experience on his Freedom 33 cat/ketch, and a variety of charter boats.
